VoiceAmerica Talk Radio Network Presents "The Living Shelter Café" hosted by architect Terry K. Phelan
PHOENIX, AZ.- Terry K. Phelan, architect and owner of Living Shelter Design Architects, is recognized in the field of sustainable home and community design, and for being a leader in the green building movement in the Pacific Northwest. She will begin hosting her new radio show, "The Living Shelter Café" starting Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 9AM PST on VoiceAmerica's Green Talk Network channel at http://www.thegreentalknetwork.com. The show is re-broadcast 12 hours later, and available through an archive at the computer and through web enabled cell phones, 24/7 nationally and internationally.

The show is geared for all levels of interest and knowledge in sustainable building, and will include in-depth interviews of professionals and trades people as well as providing tips to make any dwelling healthier for both people and planet. Audience members are encouraged to make this live show even more interactive by calling in or sending an e-mail to livingsheltercafe (at) live (dot) com.

Terry is expanding into the radio medium to educate and inspire a wider audience to explore the options for green building in remodeling and new construction. Her easy conversational style, which draws out ideas to form spaces for clients, should kindle enlightening discussions with guests in areas of expertise from eco-cities to earthen finishes.

Ms. Phelan has spent many years focused on working with the inherent gifts of each building site, identifying healthy, creative and beautiful material choices, and stewarding community based development. She has been published in Natural Home Magazine and Mother Earth News, as well as appearing in several books on green homes.
